The lid is made from ABS plastic. ABS plastic is the highest grade of plastic out in the market. This type of plastic will not crack, change shape, or change color due to variations in climate. Our designers spent hundreds of hours making adjustments to perfecting the lid. They ensure that every lid closes tightly and odors will stay in the trash can keeping your surroundings clean and fresh. We've also made advances in our twice-closing mechanism so the lid closes silently and efficiently.
Our patented technology infrared sensor detects motion within ten inches. The sensor made it possible that you no longer have to have contact with the dirty trash can. We've taken away the pedals and the pushing/lifting of the lid to truly avoid you from germs. The distance and angle of the sensor has been tested over thousands of times to ensure that it would be the best possible.
All of our trash cans are battery operated. Our technicians worked with physicists to find the best energy saving formula and designed our mechanism to specifications. With one change of batteries, it will run for more than 10,000 open and closes, the equivalent to a year of usage.
